Walk to help fight heart disease and stroke on Sunday, Oct. 19 at Calf Pasture Beach, Norwalk at 10 a.m.
Donators will help the American Heart Association fight heart disease and stroke, the first and third cause of US deaths, through research, education and outreach programs. The event goal is to reach $450,000 in donations.
According to the American Heart Association, walking briskly for an hour can increase life expectancy by 2 hours.
